Dynamic system
Also: plant
A bounded part of the world whose outputs respond to inputs and internal state.
A dynamic system maps input and initial state to evolving state and output under a model and operating assumptions.
Example A motor, load, driver, and sensor may form the plant for speed control.
Common misconception The system boundary is a modeling choice, not a naturally obvious line.
