Sink current
Also: current sinking
Current flowing from a load into an output pin driven low.
Sink capability has guaranteed voltage and aggregate limits that may differ from source capability.
Example An LED wired to 3.3 V can illuminate when the GPIO sinks current low.
Common misconception Sinking does not make current disappear; it returns through the device and supply path.
