A bounded group of transmitted symbols interpreted as one communication unit.
Framing uses length, delimiters, fixed fields, timing, or encoding and must recover after corruption or byte loss.
Example A frame contains type, length, payload, and checksum.
Common misconception This communication frame is different from a spatial coordinate frame.
