Command freshness
Also: command age
How recently an actuator command was produced or validated.
Freshness uses monotonic timestamps, sequence numbers, and expiry policy to prevent stale but syntactically valid commands from persisting.
- Units
- seconds (s)
Example Reject a drive command whose age exceeds 150 ms.
Common misconception A valid checksum does not make an old command fresh.
